We went off the the alaskan malamute club of America nationals again in October, this time held in beautiful Wisconsin. KACEY placed in most if her classes, despite shedding all her coat in the weeks leading up to the event. She also qualified both days in the Rally Novice B obedience class, earning her first two legs toward that title. TASSI did not disappoint, making the cut for Best of Breed for the third year in a row! COBY is getting the hang of harness work, and pulled his was to the first leg toward his Working Weight Pull Dog title.
The weekend after nationals, KACEY and COBY competed in Rally Novice B (Coby needs the practice) at the DOTCORNY trials, where Coby placed well and Kacey qualified as well, to finish her Rally Novice title!
In November, the AMCA held another fun and successful all breed agility trial in PA. COBY qualified in Novice Jumpers Preferred both days for his first two Qs toward his NJP title- clean runs both days!
We are hoping to get out to a few more agility trials this winter and hope to earn more Qs..
